What is Almansur?
Almansur is a strategy game of politics, economy and war, set in the early middle ages and in some scenarios, fantasy world. You play the role of a lord, to whom felt the job of guiding your land to greatness and glory.
Will you develop your economy, and try to become a merchant empire, or raise a mighty army to conquer and submit your neighbors? Will you build a powerful alliance with other lords, or a try to be feared by all? Will you carefully train an elite force, or raise troops by the thousands?
But the game really shines in its portray of operational warfare. Can you maneuver your armies in order to catch the enemy in a terrain that favors your troops? Will you maneuver fast to arrive first, but risk being caught in an ambush if the enemy has predicted your move? It's all up to you in this breathtaking game where your strategy skills will be put to the ultimate test.
Almansur is a new approach to online turn-based simulation games. We are having a great time developing this game and we are making it so that you will have a great time playing it.
